Encoding problem in IE7
Fra : Jakob Flygare

Dato : 26-07-07 13:17

I have a parent page that is UTF-8 encoded with an iframe that is
ISO-8859-1 encoded. In the iframe the special characters æ, ø and
å are rendered as boxes due to the encoding of the parent page.
How do I solve this problem?

If that combination give troubles, you should choose the same encoding for
both files. Open one of the files in an editor, than can save in either
encoding, change the encoding definition and save the file in the encoding
that matches the definition set.

This answer is sent to both d.e.i.webdesign and d.e.i.w.html widt follow-up
to the html group, wich will be the right group for your question.
