Hi there

I just installed php 4.0.5 on my 2000 pro machine, but it wont parse the
code???

I did EXECTLY same thing the other day on a 98 machine, it worked
perfect.... Strange...

What is it that's different, and what do I do about it??

Did you remember to copy php4ts.dll to c:\WINNT\system?
Did you remember to copy php.ini to c:\WINNT (orginal name php.ini-dist)
Remember to change the doc_root to the path where you Apache webscope is...
etc. c:\www
Did you remember to set follow linies into you httpd.conf in apache (or
which webserver do you use?)
ScriptAlias /php4 "c:/php4"
AddType application/x-httod-php4 .php .php4 .phtml
Action application/x-httpd-php4 "/php4/php.exe"
(Change these 3 linies if you haven't installed the php4 ind c:\php4)
