This is what I'd like to do: when you click one of the links at the front
page of my site, a partially transparent rectangle appears, with text
describing the article that the link leads to. The rectangle should be
partially transparent, so you can view the front page through it. If the
text in the rectangle is long, you should be able to scroll. Also, the
rectangle should have no borders, I don't want to make another pop-up
window.

I believe this can be made in Flash, but this is way above my level, since
I'm a beginner. Any help on how to do this will be greatly appreciated!
