I have made a java class which calls a native method, which spawns a
thread, which calls back to the java class. This works under redhat
linux-7.0, using jdk1.3, but when I try to port it to Solaris, I get
EPERM when I try to create the thread (using pthread or thread does not
matter). I also create the thread with NULL attributes, which normally
works.

This must have something to do with scheduling policies or something other?
