Sunday, July 14th the Aarschots Triathlon Team organises for the first
time a 1/3 distance race, being a 2k swim, 60k bike and 15k run.

This official Flemish Triathlon League Points-race, with a total money
price grid of EUR2500, is also the Belgian Medical Cycling Association
championchip middle-long distance triathlon.

The schedule also still includes the traditional Plas Triathlon,
individual and relay sprint distance race, 0.75k swim, 27k bike and
5k run.

Both races are NON-DRAFTING RACES!

The swim leg happens at the magnificent lake of the Domein Ter Heide
(Rotselaar). The very challenging hilly bike track around the Aarschot
city centre will undefinitely bring the best out of every athlete
competing, while during the run leg the race hardly becomes any
easier. The climb of the 'Meulenberg', starting from within the city
centre towards the highest point at 'Orleans Tower', which the
athletes on the 1/3 race will be presented not less than three times,
is sure to be remembered long time afterwards.

The finish line is in the Aarschot city centre, where after the price
ceremony a free open air rock concert is offered.
