Announcement:
While downloading over a ISDN Modem with two B-Channels (128000 Baud)
the PC Serial port does limit your download to 115200 Baud. While
older PC hardware was not able to go further than 115200 Baud newer PC
hardware can use speeds up to 921600 Baud or even more! Unfortunately
the standard Serial.sys driver in Windows XP/2000 does not allow this
higher speeds. Therefore I've developed the HiSerial.sys driver. The
driver currently supports the chipset Winbond W83627x family at max.
921600 Baud (e.g. in Mobo Asus A7V266) and VIA VT82C686A/B at max.
460800 Baud (e.g. in MoBo Asus A7V (KT133)). With this driver you can
achieve download speeds of up to 15,6 kB/sec or more when you use
modem hardware compression. Not supported chipsets work at 115200
