Hej Jim

www.pgmusic.com hjemmesiden:
PowerTracks has a number of audio effects, including distortion, reverb, enhancer, compressor, and many others. One
feature I enjoyed is Pitch-to-MIDI this can take an audio file and turn it into a MIDI file. It cannot process chords,
but it can process melodies or other parts that play one note at a time. The application takes a melody, and then
converts it to midi. I tried this by plugging a microphone into my soundcard and singing the melody of a song I am
working on. It showed me the notes I sang in standard notation. This is a great time saver when you have a melody in
your head, but are unsure of what the note names are. PowerTracks 7 can also use Direct X plugins, which are third-party
audio effects. I tried a stereo reverb made by Cakewalk and it worked great. An advantage third-party effects have are
that many work in real-time, whereas the effects that PowerTracks 7 comes with need to render the audio first.
