(Sorry for not writing in Danish)
Dear Researchers
There has been a major update for the Surname Navigator, a simple one-
button-form METAsearch engine for surnames and "cross-border"
emigration research with the click of a button. Surname Navigator
Denmark
http://www.geneaservice.nl/navigator/denmark facilitates the
searching of multiple databases with one entry. In addition, other
sections of the site are applicable to other countries. There is a
global version and separate versions for 45 countries. It's a good
starting point to search for a name. Researchers can save many hours
using METAsearch engines such as these. Some have reported excellent
results. (Works with functional pop-ups) If you leave all the boxes
checked, it will open 6 to 10 windows. If you want less windows, just
uncheck the databases you don’t want to have searched.
For Surname Navigator Denmark the following databases are included:
LDS Denmark, Geneanet Denmark, Database over Dannebrogsmænd, Danish
passengers NY 1892-1924, Danske Billeder, LDS Vital Records Index
Denmark, DDD Emigration database, HGS Prob. Aalborg etc., Google
Slægtsforskning Danmark, Folketællinger for Århus-området 1787 1801
1834 1845 1860, Vielsedata 1760-1870 Århus, Århus Borgerbog 1750-1862,
