Nu er den gal i Holland, - og den er gal i Grækenland med en blasfemianklage
over en sød bog om Jesus. Den med at tage overdrevent hensyn til alle de
overfølsomme breder sig som en steppebrand.

Bortset fra det så er det en interessant lov man tænker på at indføre i
Holland.



The Netherlands will cut scenes of bare breasted women and gays kissing from
an information video targeting would-be immigrants because some Muslim
countries would find it unacceptable, the Dutch authorities said today.

The original video, shot to provide prospective immigrants with a picture of
the Netherlands, included shots of topless women on the beach, a gay
marriage ceremony in which the grooms kiss and historical footage from the
1960s hippie movement showing naked women dancing.

"The movie cannot get into a dozen countries or so generally Muslim
countries," Maud Bredero, spokeswoman for Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk,
said.

The uncut version of the film would still be available in Dutch embassies
because they were technically on Dutch soil, but the spokeswoman conceded
that "local authorities probably would not like it".

The film would be edited to fit the sensibilities of some, mostly Muslim,
countries, she said.




The Dutch parliament late yesterday debated Verdonk's proposals for a new
integration program for immigrants with a compulsory test of Dutch language
and culture for immigrants wanting to enter the country.

A prospective immigrant would have to take the test in his home country
before being allowed to enter the Netherlands.

A majority of Dutch parliament is in favour of the new, stricter plan,
despite complaints from some experts that it is discriminatory.

If the bill is voted through, the only immigrants exempt from taking the
test will be European Union citizens and nationals of Australia, Canada,
Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland and the United States.
