Two catalogues open at the same time – The enhanced user interface
allows handling objects between two catalogues open at the same time.
This is particularly useful for rapid copy or move operations and allows
easy navigation through the catalogue contents.
OLE2 drag & drop – Easy moving or copying of objects via drag & drop
between other applications on your computer system.
Text and video support – In addition to images and sound, the software
supports the handling of text and video documents.
Enhanced printing – The software offers you the possibility to integrate
images and graphics into business cards. Some additional templates like
postcards or calendar sheets will be available for your individual
design.
Connection to an external image editor - This means easy access to
advanced manipulation features for your object collection and offers
simple handling of object data files out of MediaSuite.
Screen saver and background image - Design your very own working
environment with MediaSuite. All images can be incorporated at will in a
screen saver. This applies also to the creation of selected background
images.
Dimming images - If you wish to use an existing catalogue for your slide
show and one image or some images are not to be displayed, these can be
dimmed. This saves you the trouble of inserting an extra catalogue only
for the slideshow.
Full TWAIN-compatibility - This means that every device for which a
manufacturer provides a TWAIN device driver can directly load objects
into MediaSuite.
Additional camera support – Besides all OLYMPUS digital cameras,
MediaSuite provides support for the digital camera range of many other
camera manufacturers.
Wizard assisted installation and configuration - A less experienced user
will be led step by step through the configuration process. Alternatives
in selection will be explained and proposals simplify the decision which
option to choose.
Assembling images in a panorama view - The panorama function allows you
to align up to ten pictures adjacent to one another in a panorama view.
Security for all objects - Unwanted access to the objects managed in
MediaSuite pro can be easily prevented. Not only individual objects, but
whole catalogues can be protected via a password or dimmed for screen
presentation.
Additional database fields for administration - With the Configuration
Wizard you can assign names to three different customizable database
fields. The contents can be entered with the Object Info function and
each field may comprise more than 15,000 characters.
Creating print templates with the TemplateEditor - Besides the
possibility to print one or more images on paper sheets you can now
create also visiting cards or use other templates like e.g. calendars
with the new TemplateEditor.
Extra Editor for additional image processing - The MediaSuite Image
Editor, delivered with this MediaSuite pro version, offers some advanced
editing functions, which allow you to enhance your digital images.
