Her er et uddrag fra hjæpeteksten i Cellular Essential :
Cellular Essentials supports the import and export of phone books from and to other Windows applications. Since the most common of
all database-oriented applications (i.e. the data format that almost all applications can export and import), is the so-called CSV
("Comma S
eparated Values") format, this format was selected for the import and export of phone book data.
If, e.g. you want to import the phone book stored in your cellular phone to Outlook, do the following: select the menu «File |
Export...» after you have read the phone book from your mobile phone into your PC, and adjust the field names to the field names of
your Outlook program by changing the appropriate names in the fields according to your requirements. You can save the selected names
(as well as all other settings in the screen "Export Phone Book") in a profile file, so that you do not have to redo these settings
next time. After creating the export file (e.g. "Cellphone.csv"), you can import it into your Outlook program.
If you want to import data from another Windows application, select the menu option «File | Import...». After defining the type of
cellular phone for which data is to be created (depending on whether your mobile phone supports Extended Data), you can define all
the required settings and field assignments on a total of three screens of the phone book import wizard and then carry out the
import into a Cellular Essentials phone book file. Here too, you can save all the required settings in a profile file or load them
from a profile file (for Outlook, the standard settings are already set up in an accompanying import profile file). The newly
created phone book can then be synchronized with the entries of the mobile phone.
