| switching hub ??? switch eller hub ?? Fra : dhkcs |

Hejsa derude.
SH-9008A Switching DeskTop Hub 16 port Switching Hub / 10/100Mbit / 8port
Men er det en switch eller hub ? Forhandleren siger det er en switch, men
hvorfor

Nothing more than Cute !
10/100Mbps of N-Way switches stand out for the following advantages:
Cost-effective for SOHO users, meanwhile get workgroup's performance Ultra
big data pipe for any nodes (server, workstation, printer.etc) Easy to use,
plug and play at 10/100Mbps and half/full-duplex modes.
Specification
Standards : IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3x and IEEE802.3u
Interface media : STP RJ45 ports
Transmission : Auto-negotiation (half/full-duplex, 10/100Mbps)
Up-link port : IIndependent up-link port serves to link another hub/switch
without crossover cable
Buffer memory : 2 Mega bytes
Operating temperature : 0~50°C
Power input : 12-20VDC, external power
MAC address : 2K MAC address entries table
Max. filtering rate : 148,800 packets per second
Max. forwarding rate : 148,800 packets per second
LEDs : Power, Link/Activity, Full/Half duplex, Speeds
Power Supply Approval : FCC, CE, VCCI, UL/CUL, CSA
Operating humidity : 10%~90% (non-condensing)
Mounting method : Desktop
Dimensions (L x W x H) : (174 x 106 x 31 mm)
Features :
Store-and-forward.
CRC or direct mapping hashing scheme for better address coverage.
Short routing decision time.
Low power 3.3V, 5V I/O tolerance, CMOS technology.
Ability to receive/transmit packets even when other ports use up data buffer
resources.
Proprietary back-pressure data flow control mechanism used in half-duplex
mode to avoid packet loss.
In full-duplex mode, simultaneous packet transmission and reception cause no
collision, while the bandwidth is doubled.
