RealPlayer G2
The G2 player from RealNetworks is one of the most popular audio and
video applications available for use on the net today.
Download the plug-in from
http://www.real.com/products/biz.
Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation wizard.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the plug-in.
After you have completed installing the plug-in, click on the Start
menu and choose "Find", then choose "Files or Folders". Search for the
file "nppl3260.dll". Once you have located the file, copy it to
Opera's Plugins folder (usually "C:\Program Files\Opera\Plugins").
If you do not have Netscape installed on your system, the installer
program will not place the file "nppl3260.dll" on your system, which
makes it it impossible to use the G2 plug-in with Opera. The only
piece of advice that can be offered is that if you have access to a
machine that has Netscape installed, that you can install Realplayer
on that system, then copy the file from that system and place it in
the Opera Plugins directory on your system.
In Opera, pull down the "Preferences" menu and choose "Associate".
Press the "Find Plugins" button in the "Action" part of the window.
Opera will locate the copied files and associate them with RealPlayer
files.
