) for at
bedømme SONY's nye Wundermittel...

New standards in image quality and reliability
The A230 provides an approximately 80 per cent improvement in picture
brightness (200cd/m2 compared to 110cd/m2 in the A220) with the Hi-BrightTM
version of L-SAGIC (Low voltage Small Aperture Grid with Impregnated
Cathode) electron gun. The integration of an impregnated tungsten cup
enables a smaller aperture and leads to greater focus, improved brightness
and significantly longer operational life. Despite the technical hurdles
involved with this level of brightness, the A230 differs from many rival
monitors in offering excellent focus even at maximum brightness levels --
separate operating modes and extra software are not required.
